Die Waldpartie 2023 - When I was asked to show my work with others in a former archive, I was thinking about that people probably collect in an archive is what they call true as a documentation of facts. I thought now I have to do the same. But what does this mean and what is a true or authentic position as an artist? Is it my feeling, a belief, an idea, an identification or belonging with who, what my big brother Christopher tells on TV, a writer I would love, my interests, a mark with paint, with pain? With the installation I would like to open up an area of different directions and forces and pay attention to the contradictions, that maybe lie in all of us. Is the authentic subject a meeting in the woods, an arena in which different actors and projectors operate, eine Waldpartie?
